A slug of a consciousness asleep

Believe your false truth

Make up reality as you wish

Nonsense and misreading

Is all you can dish.

Is it fear of threat

I have no idea

But i could bet

In a heartbeat you fight what's set.

As time goes on

The flames burn long

The trees burn down

The forest is gone

What's left in its wake

Is burnt out shell

Mistrust and hate

There's a time and place

I was always told

Well the time is now

And the place is too old.

It's time to move on

Create something new

Explode from the clasp

Of distrust and misconstrue

When the grass look greener

The pay looks meaner
